I became a personal trainer because I've seen firsthand how powerful fitness can be in transforming not just bodies, but confidence, mindset, and quality of life. After navigating my own health journey and overcoming setbacks, I wanted to help others feel strong, confident, and in control of their well-being. In addition to being a personal trainer, I'm also a certified nutrition and wellness consultant, which allows me to support my clients with a well-rounded, sustainable approach to their goals. I have experience working with beginners and those focused on body recomposition. I specialize in functional strength training, mobility, and injury prevention- especially for those returning to fitness or balancing it with busy lives. One of the most underrated elements of a great fitness program is intentional recovery and movement preparation. I love teaching clients how to warm up properly, activate the right muscles, and move well before adding weight. It's a game changer for preventing injuries and seeing real, lasting progress. My coaching style meets clients where they're at, builds them up step by step, and emphasizes consistency over perfection- because real change is built on strong habits and small wins.

Rebekah

After undergoing cancer treatment in 2019, I turned my personal experience into a passion for fitness and wellness. Although I’ve always been interested in healthy living, this journey inspired me to get certified as a personal trainer to help others. For the past five years, I’ve worked with clients to improve strength, endurance, and overall health. Fitness, for me, is not just about physical transformation — it’s a powerful tool for mental health and confidence. I believe in a holistic approach that includes both fitness and nutrition, understanding that proper nutrition is key to fueling workouts, recovery, and well-being.

I focus on proper form and mobility, often overlooked aspects of training that prevent injuries and ensure long-term success.

In 2023, I ran the AACR Marathon, a personal milestone that has motivated me to keep pushing my limits. I’m looking forward to running again this year and continuing to set new goals.

Whether you're new to fitness or aiming to take your training to the next level, I’m here to guide you every step of the way toward a healthier, more empowered lifestyle.

Scott Dyck has been a personal trainer in the Philadelphia area for 18 years.  Growing up in central Kansas, physical activity was a part of every day.  A multi-sport athlete in high school, he went on to play baseball at Tabor College before enlisting in the Army.  He has co-authored the textbook for the International Sport Sciences Association's accredited course Group Fitness, with friend and colleague Sara Fleming. Since then, he has also earned the NSCA CSCS and Certified Functional Nutrition Practitioner certifications, as well as a M.S. in Kinesiology.

Scott relates to his experience as a culmination of a lifetime of fitness observation and self-experimentation.  After playing competitive sports, making a living in construction and military service, and working through personal orthopedic injuries and asymmetries, Scott both saw and felt the daily value of peak movement patterns; and body composition as a crucial aspect of human performance.

Nicole

During pregnancy, I gained about 40 pounds and continued to slowly gain weight until my son was 2 or 3. I realized I had let myself go and decided to begin meal-prepping and hitting the gym. I quickly discovered that I had a passion for fitness! I began helping my friends and family implement fitness routines into their lives and loved it. This motivated me to become a personal trainer.

I specialize in women’s fitness, weight loss management, and strength training. In addition, I worked in a physical therapy office as an assistant and learned a lot about rehabilitation exercises that I continue to use as warm-ups in my sessions. I believe the most underutilized tool in a well-rounded fitness program is foam rolling! My clients hear about it all the time, but it has helped me immensely in recovering from injuries and preventing more injuries from happening. I absolutely love it when I see my clients make progress, whether it be losing weight, getting stronger, or having overall less pain. It truly makes my job fulfilling.
